The archers are completing try-outs this week, the final 24 will be announced on Friday, weather permitting. Try-outs have been going well. Scores are excellent and that is a good problem to have!
Officer Masenior will be starting his program with our 5th grade students on Monday during health. He will be with us for several weeks and will help the students learn important decision making skills. Many thanks to Officer Masenior and the Washington Township Police Department for dedicating themselves for this important endeavor.

Archery Try-OutsNASP)
The students who have been invited to try-out for the 2013 - 2014 OCS Archery Team have been hard at work, shooting before and after school. We will be selecting the top 24 archers after the week of January 20th when official try-outs will be held. The team must be comprised of 24 archers (minimum 5 girls and 5 boys) from grades 6-8. These regulations are set by the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).
We will be shooting for the state championship on Friday February 28th at 3:00 PM. NJ Fish and Wildlife will be conducting the state shoot in our gym. Teams will shoot on Friday night February 28th and all day on Saturday March 1st. More information regarding the shoot will be distributed as the date gets closer.
