There will be NO “Open Gym” time on Wednesday, November 26^th and on Monday, December 1^st. “Open Gym” will resume on Tuesday, December 2^nd at 7:30 AM. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

OPEN GYM TIME FOR ARCHERY

Archery Open Gym Time

All students in Grades 6, 7, 8 who have been medically cleared by the school physician are welcome to come to “Open Gym” time before school. Open Gym time will continue next week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24^th, 25^th, and 26^th mornings beginning at 7:30 AM. All students who have been medically cleared received a letter stating that their eligibility. If you have a question regarding medical clearance please contact Mrs. Svercauski at the school.

The 2nd and 7th grade students had a very special visitor on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Carley Sopko a Registered Dietitian from the Washington Shop-Rite visited us and shared some important Nutrition information with our students. Please feel free to stop by Shop-Rite and say hi to Carley. She shared some great tips for snacks to help our students stay healthy.

Archery Information

We will begin to have our "Open Gym Time for Archery" beginning on Monday November 17th. The sessions will begin daily at 7:30 AM and will last until 8:10. Students in grades 6-8 who have all of their paperwork updated with the nurse are eligible to participate in the open gym time. This is an opportunity for interested students to get extra practice in archery. We will be completing the first round of rubric scores in PE class this week. The rubric scores will determine who is eligible to try-out for the archery team. Students who are able to participate in open gym have received a letter from the school and the school doctor.
