Welcome FOX NEWS

FOX NEWS with Alisyn Camerota came to visit OCS on Tuesday. A full film crew arrived at the school and took over 5 hours of video. The film will be edited as part of a story about archery and it's increase in popularity. We are hoping that the story will air in June of this year. Many thanks to FOX NEWS for coming out to the school, what a great experience for the team.

Fund raising efforts are in full swing. We will are having our annual flower sale with delivery expected on May 4th. The "Bucket Drive" with the Oxford Township Rescue Squad will take place on May 6th. A huge THANK YOU to everyone helping out with the team. Without every one's help we would not be so successful.

FOX News comes to OCS!

On Tuesday April 17th, FOX News will be coming to Oxford Central School to begin taping a story on our Archery Team. The film crew will be here to tape the archers during their afternoon practice. Our team will be scoring for the "E"-Championship, which is an electronic tournament that we participate in each week. The archers can track their scores and see how they compare to other archers throughout the United States. Everyone is welcome to come out and cheer the students on during the shoot, or you can also watch the teams progress at the following link:

Details about the story will follow as soon as they become available.

Happy Spring

Happy Spring......
It has been very busy in the gym.  Students have been working on building up their endurance levels by playing various cooperative games.  The 5th grade has been learning a new game called, Tchoukball.  The warmer weather has allowed us to get some classes outside!  In health, students are learning about the body systems, human growth, and Miss L is beginning a unit on nutrition.  And if you haven't heard already, our archery team won their SIXTH straight NJ state championship!!!  Congratulations to the team, coaches, and parents for all their hard work.  On to Louisville!!!!!  Mr. C and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter.  Have a safe, relaxing spring break.
